Carl has extensive experience in real estate, corporate, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, financing, private equity and franchise transactions. He regularly provides opinions in connection with a variety of financing transactions, including conduit and Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae loan transactions. He also assists with dispute resolution and probate matters.
Carl formed Clark Business Law, PLLC in 2012 and has served as the primary counsel for Peak Capital Partners, LLC and related entities since that time.
Carl has assisted in closing hundreds of real estate and related transactions, around the country. He also has significant experience in venture fund compliance, capital raising and portfolio investments, whether through convertible notes, Series Seed or Series A financing transactions.
Carl also serves as primary counsel for Costa Vida restaurants as it aggressively expands its development throughout the United States and Canada.
Until February 2012, Carl was a shareholder and member of the business transactions group of Parr Brown Gee & Loveless, PC, specializing in general business matters, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, real estate transactions and franchise law.
Carl earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Minor in Philosophy from Brigham Young University.
He received his Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School in 2002.
