Spencer Hafen




Spencer Hafen is an associate at Clark Business Law. After graduating from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Business with a degree in Finance, Spencer attended and received his JD from BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School. Following his first year in law school, Spencer spent time in Beijing, China working on international business transactions for China’s largest domestic law firm. Later, Spencer served as an extern for Magistrate Judge Paul Warner of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah.

Spencer has served as a leader of numerous organizations, including as a member of the Utah State Bar Litigation Section Executive Committee, as a BYU Law School Trial Advocacy Team board member, as a BYU Law School Student Council member, and as a BYU Student Wellness Executive Committee member.

Spencer serves as a mediator for the Utah County Justice Court and the BYU Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution. Prior to graduating from BYU, Spencer spent two years serving as an LDS missionary in Hong Kong where he did work in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Chinese Sign Language. He also has served as a Mandarin translator at the Missionary Training Center.
